Hello TBFighters,
Over 2,000,000 people with HIV cannot get lenacapavir, an injectable form of PrEP which only has to be taken twice a year, because Gilead refuses to expand access to 26 countries and sell lenacapavir to Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières/MSF).
What can we do?
To help end this injustice, we need to continue our pressure on Gilead to expand access to lenacapavir. You can do this by calling or emailing them directly or by simply spreading the word. You can find a host of resources on our website!
To help keep up the pressure, we are launching 2 Shot Tuesdays, where we will host advocacy sessions to pressure Gilead two different ways. That could be calling, emailing, making memes, coming up with new, fun ideas, or writing letters. Our first one will be next Tuesday, August 4th at 6pm EDT. Come and join us!
